Empty your OneDrive Recycle Bin: items in your OneDrive Recycle Bin count against your usage. Items stay here for 93 days, but you can clear them manually to free up available space: carefully manage your OneDrive Recycle Bin by signing into OneDrive and selecting 'Recycle Bin' in the left navigation pane.
For convenience, here's a direct link to access the Recycle Bin in a web browser: https://www.office.com/onedrive—After signing in, click Recycle Bin on the left panel.
